MARCIN BONDAROWICZ (born in 1976 in Starachowice, Poland) is a cartoonist & illustrator. He works creating posters and illustrations for business magazines, socio-political magazines, as well as online information portals. For many years he has worked with Polish & international press (including: „Forbes”, „Focus”, „Media & Marketing Polska”, „Manager Magazin”, „Harvard Business Review Polska”, „BusinessWeek”, „Newsweek – Polska”, „Przekrój”, „Tygodnik Powszechny”, „Coaching”, „POLSKA The Times”, „Fakt”, „Super Express”, „Nie” „Puls Biznesu”, „Eulenspiegel  Satiremagazin” (Germany), „Cartoon Weekly” (China), „Berliner Kurier” (Germany), „Pulse” (Great Britain), „HIMAL Southasian” (Nepal). In today's world - in an age when traditional patterns are threatened by globalization, when value hierarchies are being blurred by the dominant liberal ideology and when the autonomy and individuality of the artistic message is being undermined by advertisements, billboards, spots and clips - the individual artist's manual and craftsman like dexterity are in greater than ever demand for me. My works refer to the tradition of the Polish school of poster art, a poster art which was philosophical, brief, at the same time, harbouring ambitions of a wider social resonance.

There are symbolic pictures of an autobiographical and existential character. Autobiography became a shelter and a starting-point for my work. The painter's image - “corporeality of Art” are the counterweight to the stereotype proposed by the media, the counterweight to the virtual reality of the electronic media.

JERZY ORZECHOWSKI  born 1927 in Nietulisko (Poland). Photographer and photography teacher. He works in the traditional photo medium. He participating in many photography contests and art exhibits. For the last 30 years he has worked in the Youth Center (Mlodziezowy Dom Kultury) in Starachowice, Poland.
